Absolutely incredible scenery! You really know how to capture the surrounding beauty. We liked seeing Jasper as well. So great there are places preserved for the future generations. BTW if you have an iPhone and you take a picture of a plant there is a circle with a star at the bottom of the photo. If you press it the item can usually be identified. Just in case you weren’t aware. Be safe. ❤️

Cold pizza at a campsite! Sounds like a gourmet meal to me! Ain’t no restaurant that had the views ya’ll had. The Canadian Rockies are so different…they are just so massive! This video brought warm sweet memories of a hiking trip up to Shadow Lake Lodge just outside of Banff MANY years ago. LIFE GOES BY FAST!

I don't think your discomfort is being in a foreign country (which Canada doesn't really count as). You grew up in So Cal and did most of your camping in the Sierra before you decided to do this full time. I think it's the wild animals and you would feel the same way in Alaska. I did car camping in a tent in Banff and was fine but it was a lot more nerve-wracking with the threat of grizzlies. I stayed in the main campground which gave me some comfort as there were 400 campsites and rangers around. They don't even use bear boxes- just put everything in the car which made me nervous being from California. I broke down the kitchen every day- left nothing out. You may have to give up your pristine wild campsites for more developed ones in areas like this. . Gorgeous scenery and videos

This past week while camping at Starr Summit on hwy 395 in Oregon, a doe and very newborn fawns walked through my campsite. I'm sitting at the table in my camp trailer...just passing through. Only camper in the Natl Park campground, no one to tell of that happening. Now I tell anyone who asks about my trips.

You had some awesome ideas and add-ons that I have included in my notes and studies for my upcoming travel trailer home. I plan to write a book soon, providing all of this information I have gleaned, to share with new trailer owners. THANK YOU for all your suggestions and ideas!

A scenic route you may want to consider is to take Highway 16 west from Jasper to Mount Robson and then to Tete Jaune Cache and turn south on Highway 5. You should check out Wells Gray provincial park on the way.. Once you reach Kamloops head over to the Okanagan lake region and enjoy the fresh fruit from some of Canada's best Orchards

Wow Cat, such a great video. I use to watch you regularly but I moved and have since become busy in my life and don’t have as much free time to watch good content. I recently seen a few of your Canada trips and I must say I was hooked again, at least for now. ( I currently live in the mountains vrs the plains, previously, so I have much more to do). You explained the content creator so perfectly and yes, I often wondered how to live that life and could u tube content pay the way. Thanks for a great explanation. And I will admit when I seen Joey on the Canadian back pack camp I too wondered, did Cat find a ‘partner’ romantically? None the less I happened to stumble across this u tube and again you explained my question. Kudos to you both. I totally agree traveling alone can get lonely especially when you see so much beautiful content, so nice to share it with someone else. Plus, safety is always nice…traveling in pairs. I would definitely feel out of my comfort zone too being that high up and in snow peaked mountains! 😱🥶 But the scenery is very breathtaking for that time of the year! I miss being in that kind of beautiful scenery, but it would need to be much warmer for me to thoroughly enjoy the area. And you used to live in AZ so you know what I'm talking about 😊 Thanks for sharing such beautiful country!

Your video really cools me off along with your calming voice. I have a quick question if you got bitten by mosquitoes in the Canadian Rockies area. My family and I live in North Carolina and the weather now (6/24) is hot and humid and bugs/mosquitoes!
